Do now 5/18

To start off with, seeing people, animals, and nature itself be in danger, and people makingcomercials about it, really ignites my desire to help the world. Because of all of this, when i grow up, i want to be a police officer. With this, I could help the people in need potentially, animals as well, and perhaps i can help make the world green too!By fulfilling this goal of mine, Not only will i be able to be proud of myself, but I will also be able to stop crime on the streets, no matter the case. THe people would also be happy to have me because of the risks.

Invisible cloak

If i were to wear an invisible cloak for a full day, I would help the environment become greener and i'd help the people that would be ignored by most. For example I would help old people across the street, without them knowing somebody guided them. I would also help remove trash from the streets, while I do this, i will help any civilian if they were in a bad mood or couldnt do something. I would also help strangers.
Along with all of these good deeds, I would make sure to take back all of those stolen things people had taken from them would be safely retrieved and taken back to the rightful owners. The world.. they may call me Invisible Donny Boy!

Taxes class should be added!!!!!!!!

What if, instead of wondering whether Section B of Form 828364375 applies to you -- or alternatively just paying a stranger to care about that problem -- you could file your own taxes with confidence, because someone taught you when you were young? Sure, traditionally it's a parent's job to teach civic responsibility. But taxes befuddle even the most well-intentioned adults sometimes. ! RIGHT NOW! (by the way this is not Financial Literacy

Apple Watch Diary

The Apple Watch has begun to arrive in the hands of buyers around the world today — and they’re unboxing and poking at it as we speak. Several of us here at TechCrunch have been doing the same with ours, and we’ll be documenting that over the next week or so. In order to give you a more holistic picture of what it’s like to use one day to day, and to give you a place to check in on our observations as we explore, we’ve launched our Apple Watch Diary.

The diary below will be tended by TC staffers and feature videos, text and other experiments that will give those of you without an Apple Watch a chance to see what it’s like to own and use one. And those of you who have one may end up picking up on some things that you haven’t seen yet yourselves.

What The Apple Watch Could Be?

The simple answer is Apple’s first smart watch. In fact Apple calls it its “most personal device ever”. But early reviewers have wrestled with 'theraison d’ĂȘtre' of the Apple Watch.“Do you want another tiny computer in your life that you have to worry about and charge every day?” wondered The Verge‘s Nilay Patel. “That’s the real question of the Apple Watch. Does it offer so much to you that you’re willing to deal with the hassles and idiosyncrasies of a new platform that is clearly still finding a true purpose?”

    Azure Mobile!

Microsoft is launching Azure App Service today, a new cloud-based service that gives developers a single service for building mobile and web apps, combined with tools for automating business processes across cloud services, and a new service for building and consuming APIs. All of these services revolve around Microsoft’s oft- (and over-) used mantra of “mobile first, cloud first.”
Not all of the tools that are part of this new package are new, though. Turns out, Microsoft built App Service on top of existing tools like Azure websites, mobile Services and Biztalk  services. Microsoft will migrate all existing Azure Websites users to the new package (for the same price).
app-service-heroAzure Mobile Services users will also migrate to the new service, but at a slower place because the move actually breaks a few existing API services (though Microsoft notes that it’ll be very easy for developers to make the necessary changes to port their applications over to the new service). For now, Azure Mobile Services and the mobile component of App Services will be available side-by-side, but over time. It’s unclear for how long Microsoft will support both services, though.

The Tesla Model S Will Get “Autopilot” Mode In About Three Months 3/20 blogposting

Screen Shot 2015-03-19 at 10.17.56 AM

Basically my blog posting is about how with all of the hype on those commercials with autopilot on vehicles. Some of the features include

    • An automatic emergency brake: This will stop the car if it believes you're about to slam into a car in front of you so it stops people who are recklessly driving. I believe this will benefit future crash reports.
    • Blind spot warnings, side collision warnings: I'm not sure whether or not this will be particularly a good thing, because chances are, you won't be able to respond to a person about to hit you when they're going at like 70mph.

Will the apple watch catch on?

Apple's newest product, the "souped up timepiece" called the apple watch. It's bound to become a cultural phenomenon that millions of people will by, according to marketing experts affiliated with the company. However that isn't their main worry, people are worried about the fact that most people don't use their watches anymore because they are so obsessed with other devices like the iphone, android, samsung, etc. Even though this comes out soon, april 10th on sale for about 350$, They're afraid that even with all the hype, it will die in a very short span of time.

    2/18's Blog Posting

So this year is my first in terms of going to Wood-Ridge... and by far my favorite class is English I. What i first expected to learn was just grammatical mistakes or like any sort of writing. So far i have learned about romeo and juliet, and a lot of other short stories. The teacher who teaches this class is Ms. Hunter. Ms. Hunter has a sense of humor and is very funny. She also has the ability to stay on track while also socializing with us the class. Her grading policy is like a test a week, on our vocab. An interesting aspect of that class is that we can always be straight-forward and honest in her class. If a book uses explicit language, we can just bluntly re-speak if it's brought up in a question. How technology is used? Well all we ever use it for is essays or star testing. Other information i'd like to include is that reading and watching Romeo and Juliet is truely a blast! You can see Ms. Hunter's School webpage HERE

Meet Pebble Time, The All-New Smartwatch From Pebble

Pebble helped in popularizing two big concepts in gadgets: Kickstarter and the smart watch. Now, the company is back with news that applies in both areas, with a brand new Pebble smartwatch called Pebble Time that’s debuting today on Kickstarter.

The new hardware has a full color, always-on e-paper screen, but features a slimmer, sleeker design and maintains its week-long battery life. The software is new, too, with a focus on providing you with all the information you need at a glance in one place, both for now and for the future.

    Tech Article 2/12

After buying Travelocity earlier this month for $280 million, Expedia continues its online travel acquisition spree. Today, the company announced an agreement to acquire Orbitz for $1.6 billion — or $12 per share — in cash, a premium of 29 percent on Orbitz’s current share price.

The deal speaks to ongoing consolidation in the market, but also Expedia’s bigger competitive threat in the form of Priceline, which owns Kayak and other large travel properties, and the fact that perhaps Orbitz saw the consolidation writing on the wall itself.

Drone Maker DJI Rolls Back Buggy Update That Restricted D.C. Flights Following White House Crash!

DJI, the maker of the drone which crashed on the white house lawn last month, is rolling back the software update that was designed to prevent flights  over much of Washington D.C., citing “a small number of reported issues” with the software download. The update was pushed out fairly quickly after the national security incident, and used "geo-fencing"(A virtual barrier) to prevent drones from taking off within restricted flight zones, and flying around the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. The software, which was released for the company’s Phantom 2, Phantom 2 Vision and Phantom 2 Vision+ drones, added a “no-fly” zone that was centered on Washington D.C. and then extended for a 15.5 million radius in all directions. It disabled Phantom pilots from being able to both take off and fly in the restricted airspace.
